Apple TV has confirmed that The Savant, a political thriller it postponed shortly before its planned 2025 premiere, will arrive in spring 2027. The series was reportedly delayed after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, because its themes and scenes involving political extremism and violence appeared uncomfortably similar to the real-life event.

Jessica Chastain plays an undercover investigator who infiltrates online hate groups to prevent domestic terrorist attacks, while balancing the risks to her family and personal safety. The eight-episode series also stars Nnamdi Asomugha and Pablo Schreiber; Apple has released a trailer, but has not yet announced an exact premiere date or confirmed its release schedule.
