Apple will begin streaming Friday Night Baseball live in immersive video on the Apple Vision Pro headset from Friday 28 August 2026, expanding the range of live sports content available on the device. The move follows Apple's earlier experiment streaming select Lakers NBA games to Vision Pro last year, as the company continues trying to draw sports fans towards the headset with exclusive immersive content.

The broadcasts will include commentary from analysts and reporters, with live graphics positioned around the viewer's space during play, and replays will be made available afterwards in the Apple TV app. The opening matchup pits the Boston Red Sox against the New York Yankees, with the immersive streams continuing weekly through to 18 September.
