Arab Strap have released a new video for “Glamour Magick”, with BrooklynVegan highlighting its grotesque, body-horror aesthetic and comparing it to *The Substance*. The piece matters mainly as a new visual statement from the Scottish duo, presenting the song through an unsettling, cinematic style rather than a conventional performance clip. It also serves as another sign of the band’s continued momentum after their recent return to regular album releases.

The song is part of *Half-Told Tales*, Arab Strap’s next album, which is due on 4 September via Rock Action. The record has 14 tracks, with “Glamour Magick” appearing as track five, and follows 2024’s *I’m Totally Fine With It Don’t Give a Fuck Anymore*. Arab Strap, made up of Aidan Moffat and Malcolm Middleton, also have a European tour lined up later in the year, tying the video into a broader album campaign.
