Ariana Grande has partnered her newly launched Brighter Days Ahead Foundation with the music-industry nonprofit Backline to provide mental health support to every dancer, band member and crew member on her Eternal Sunshine Tour. The initiative reflects a growing push within the music industry to formalise care for touring staff, whose demanding schedules can take a toll on wellbeing, and forms part of a broader philanthropic effort by Grande launched in June.

Tour personnel now have access to a financial grant for mental health support and Backline's Case Management programme, which links them with therapists and counsellors, alongside 200 care packages of stress-relieving items handed out to mark the launch. The partnership also underpins B-LINE, a 24-hour mental health helpline for music industry workers that Grande's foundation had been quietly funding even before Brighter Days Ahead was formally announced; Backline says roughly 400 people have already used the service. The Eternal Sunshine Tour began in June, Grande's first major tour in seven years, supporting her chart-topping 2024 album ahead of her forthcoming record, Petal, due out on 31 July.
