Ariana Grande has surprise-released "petal (The Complete Live Album)", an iTunes-exclusive collection featuring live versions of all 12 tracks from her most recent studio album, petal. The release comes just days after she concluded her Eternal Sunshine tour, giving fans a live counterpart to the studio record she put out earlier this year.

The album includes live renditions of tracks such as "Kiss Me," "Petal," "Stay," "Big Feelings" and "Freak," alongside a rehearsal recording of lead single "Hate That I Made You Love Me." It arrives shortly after Grande finished her tour in London on 1 September, where she again altered her "Thank U, Next" lyrics to reference on-again boyfriend Ricky Alvarez, fuelling speculation about a rekindled romance. The studio version of petal, Grande's eighth album, was released in July and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with 295,000 total album-equivalent units.
