Ariana Grande’s album Petal has debuted at number one on Australia’s ARIA Albums Chart, giving her a sixth solo chart-topping album in the country. The result reinforces Grande’s continued commercial strength, with the album also placing 12 tracks in Australia’s singles top 50.

Grande led an all-female top three, ahead of Olivia Rodrigo’s you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love at number two and Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving at number three. Perth band Dice achieved a career-best number 13 with I Thought The Altitude Would Make it Worth The View, while Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” logged a ninth non-consecutive week at number one on the singles chart; Grande’s “hate that i made you love me” rose to a new peak of number two.
