Police have discovered a sophisticated cannabis farm above a bar on Attercliffe Road in Sheffield. More than 300 mature plants were found, reportedly ready to be harvested and distributed across South Yorkshire, highlighting the scale of the operation.

Officers broke through a barricaded door earlier this month and arrested two men on suspicion of cannabis production and immigration offences. Both men were released on bail while inquiries continue; police also warned that strong smells, blacked-out windows and unusual short visits may indicate a cannabis farm.
