Jake Arthur kicked a match-winning drop goal in the final five minutes to earn Hull FC a dramatic 27-26 victory away to Catalans Dragons in Super League, in a game coached by Hull's former boss John Cartwright. The result matters most for Hull, who had won only once in their previous nine Super League matches, giving interim head coach Andy Last a much-needed lift after a difficult run of form.

Hull raced into an early lead through tries from Logan Moy and Lewis Martin before Catalans hit back with four tries of their own, from Charlie Staines, Kruise Leeming, Edenn Rogers-Smith and Leo Darrelatour, to take control of the match.
