Chris Fleming says his HBO special, *Chris Fleming: Live at the Palace*, has significantly raised his profile and led to a surge in acting opportunities. The comedian, who first built an audience through his YouTube series *Gayle*, says the special has transformed his career despite the increasingly fragmented media landscape for stand-up.

Released in February, the special featured a purple bodysuit designed by Antony Sartino, known for work with Prince. Fleming says he now has several film and television offers, including two undisclosed film roles; for one, he cut his signature long hair to play a conventional religious husband and new father.
