Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Update 1.0.6 Launches Tomorrow — Here Are The Patch Notes

IGN · 6 hours ago

Ubisoft will release Update 1.0.6 for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced on 4 August, a modest patch focused on quality-of-life tweaks and bug fixes rather than major new content. The most noticeable change lets players hide Edward Kenway's blowpipe, which currently protrudes visibly from his back regardless of outfit, by selecting "Hide Gear" from the inventory screen. The update signals Ubisoft's continued support for the well-received remake, though it stops short of adding substantial new features at this stage.

The update goes live from 7am Pacific / 10am Eastern / 3pm UK time and varies in size across platforms: 15.2GB on Xbox Series X/S, 5.03GB on PlayStation 5, and 1.8GB on Steam. Beyond the blowpipe toggle, the patch addresses numerous bugs, including a missing tutorial for throwing money, an incorrectly listed price for the Kraken ship wheel, occasional crashes during combat, and an increase in autosave slots from five to ten. Ubisoft has also confirmed a New Game Plus mode is planned for the game in future updates.

  • Black Flag Resynced Update 1.0.6 arrives 4 August.
