Aston Villa v Manchester City: Premier League – live

Aston Villa host Manchester City in a Premier League match that tests City’s perfect start against a resurgent side. City lead the table after seven wins, though the article notes uncertainty over what that record means amid the club’s 115 charges.

Villa began the season poorly after losing six players from their Europa League-winning team, but have since won five of their last six matches. The article describes Unai Emery’s side as having found a strong rhythm despite the summer rebuild; City’s players, it stresses, were not involved in the charges.
