Australian police make disgusting discovery on dirty old man’s phone as he arrives at airport after overseas trip

A 74-year-old Perth man, Allen Roy Murley, has been jailed for up to 10 and a half years after directing impoverished women in south-east Asia to sexually abuse their own children on camera in exchange for small cash payments. His crimes came to light in May 2025 when Australian Border Force officers examined his phone at Perth Airport and found child abuse videos, prompting a forensic investigation by the Australian Federal Police. Sentencing Murley, Judge Lindsay Fox said he had exploited the women's poverty to corrupt them and their children in ways they may never recover from.

Murley pleaded guilty to eight offences, including grooming via a carriage service and possessing and transmitting child abuse material, after chat logs revealed he paid as little as $25 for abuse material and groomed at least one teenage girl he treated as a "daughter" figure. He will be eligible for parole after six years and nine months. Separately, a 32-year-old Philippines woman was arrested in April 2026 following an AFP referral to Philippine authorities, resulting in six children being removed from harm.
