Explained simply
The Chats are an Australian punk band known for short, fast songs and a stripped-back sound. Punk is a style of rock music that often favours direct lyrics and a raw, energetic approach.
The tour is linked to the band’s album Half Cut, due in March 2027, and follows the release of its single “Off It”. Chainwhip and Gymshorts are also set to appear as support acts, playing before the main band at selected shows.
The North American dates form part of a wider period of touring that includes Europe and the UK later in 2027. For the band, the shows provide a chance to bring the new album to audiences in several regions.
