Avatar: The Last Airbender’s next show finally gets its first real look at SDCC

Paramount unveiled the first teaser for Avatar: Seven Havens at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, offering the first substantial look at the next animated series in the Avatar: The Last Airbender franchise. Set in a post-apocalyptic future after The Legend of Korra, it follows Pavi, a young Earthbender who discovers she is the new Avatar but is feared as a destructive figure rather than welcomed as a hero. The series matters because it moves the franchise into largely unexplored territory while expanding the consequences of Korra’s era.

Seven Havens will premiere on 9 October and is set in scattered settlements after a mysterious cataclysm disrupts both the physical and spirit worlds. Saheli Khan voices Pavi, joined by Aishu Devan, Akshay Khanna, Major Curda, Sakina Jaffrey, Darren Barnet, Dianne Doan and returning performer Dee Bradley Baker; Pavi travels with her Airbender mentor Jae, her twin sibling and a cat-monkey named Geet. The trailer also suggests that Korra’s later years and the rebooted Avatar cycle will be important to the story.
