Avenged Sevenfold’s alter ego project, Statica, has released a music video for its title track, directed by Lance Drake and filmed in Northridge, California. The release highlights the band’s continued move into electronic and experimental territory, while maintaining an independent approach to distributing its recent work.

The song appears on Statica’s surprise-released four-track EP, which runs for 18 minutes and includes “Lights”, “Rejoice” and “Ashes”. The project uses robotic vocals, science-fiction-style synthesisers and dance beats, following Avenged Sevenfold’s 2023 album *Life Is But A Dream…* and the December single “Magic”; the band is also currently touring North America with Good Charlotte.
