Avengers: Doomsday Car Commercial Features New Look at Nightcrawler, Sparks Theories About Unannounced Heroes

A Jeep commercial for *Avengers: Doomsday* gives the first official glimpse of Alan Cumming’s Nightcrawler teleporting in the film, despite not being footage from the movie itself. The appearance matters because Marvel has released few details about the ensemble film, and the advert has prompted speculation about other heroes who may appear.

The commercial also shows Human Torch, The Thing, Thor and Sentinels, alongside a war-torn X-Men school. Its closing sequence features orange portals associated with Doctor Strange, whose involvement, as well as that of Wong and Ned Leeds, has not been confirmed. The portals may simply support the advert’s multiverse theme; the film is due in cinemas on 18 December.
