Bad Bunny & adidas Drop a Stealthy Soccer Sneaker That’s Likely to Sell Out

Billboard ·

Bad Bunny and adidas have released a new all-black colourway of their F50 Ghost Sprint sneaker, extending their ongoing footwear collaboration. The soccer-inspired shoe launched on 29 August, following earlier blue and green versions, and matters to fans given the artist's track record of selling out adidas drops within minutes.

The black F50 Ghost Sprint retails for $160 via adidas.com and the CONFIRMED app, with select retailers also stocking it, and all sizes remained available at the time of writing. Inspired by adidas' F50 soccer cleat, the design features an "Araña" cage and spacer mesh for flexibility and breathability, drawing on the Puerto Rican wolf spider as a nod to Bad Bunny's roots. The release coincides with his continued success beyond music, including his album Debí Tirar Más Fotos topping the Billboard 200 and his Super Bowl LX halftime show.

Bad Bunny is a Puerto Rican singer and rapper whose work has reached audiences well beyond music. He has an ongoing footwear partnership with adidas, the sportswear company, which has released several shoes designed with him.

The F50 Ghost Sprint takes its name and sporting influence from adidas’s F50 football boots. Its “Araña” cage refers to a Puerto Rican wolf spider, connecting the design to Bad Bunny’s roots; mesh panels are intended to make the shoe more flexible and breathable.

The collaboration brings together an artist’s personal style and a global sportswear brand. Earlier releases have attracted strong demand, making these launches of interest to both Bad Bunny fans and sneaker collectors.
