The incident, which occurred shortly after the singer began his set, highlights the growing disruption severe weather is causing to major outdoor events, with videos circulating on social media showing large hailstones, strong winds and heavy rain battering the audience.

The concert had been taking place at Milan's Snai La Maura Hippodrome on 18 July when thunderstorms and hail forced the show to stop. Ticket operator Live Nation confirmed the area was safely evacuated and said all ticketholders would receive full refunds.
