Bad Bunny has won his first Primetime Emmy, taking outstanding variety special (live) for "The Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show Starring Bad Bunny" at the Creative Arts Emmys in Los Angeles. The Puerto Rican star won as both lead performer and producer, making it only the second Super Bowl halftime show ever to claim the top programme Emmy, following the 2022 hip-hop show featuring Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and others. The win cements a milestone year for Bad Bunny, coming seven months after he became the first artist to win album of the year at the Grammys for a Spanish-language record.

His halftime show ultimately picked up seven awards in total, making it the most-awarded Super Bowl halftime show in Emmy history and the first Spanish-language programme to win outstanding variety special (live). Additional wins included music direction, directing, sound mixing, choreography, lighting design and technical direction. A second Bad Bunny-linked programme, the "Saturday Night Live" episode he hosted, also won an Emmy for makeup. Elsewhere, Taylor Swift's Eras Tour special lost out to a Muppet Show tribute in the pre-recorded variety category, while "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" and the Martin Scorsese documentary "Mr. Scorsese" also picked up multiple awards on the night.
