Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Wins Seven Emmys

Bad Bunny's 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show has swept seven Emmy Awards at the 78th Emmys, marking the first Emmy wins of the Puerto Rican artist's career. The wins came during the Creative Arts ceremony held on Saturday, where the Television Academy honours craftspeople and performers in variety, reality and nonfiction programming ahead of the main primetime ceremony.

Bad Bunny personally collected the award for Best Variety Special (Live), with his production also taking Best Choreography for Variety or Reality Programming, Best Directing for a Variety Special, Best Music Direction, Best Lighting Design/Lighting Direction for a Special, Best Sound Mixing for a Variety Series or Special, and Best Technical Direction and Camerawork for a Special. By contrast, Kid Rock's rival Turning Point USA alternate halftime show received no awards at all.
