BAD WOLVES Release New Version Of ‘Jolene’ Featuring DOLLY PARTON
Bad Wolves have released a new version of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene”, featuring her vocals alongside the band’s hard-rock arrangement. The release, made with the support and approval of Parton’s estate, directs proceeds to her Imagination Library, which provides books to children.
The band had shared its original cover with Parton and her team before her death; her team later supplied recordings of her vocals, which Kent Wells mixed into the track. Bad Wolves and students from Nashville’s School of Rock also appear in the official video. Founded in 1995, the Imagination Library has gifted more than 300 million books across the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia and Ireland.
