Explained simply
Baldur’s Gate 3 is a fantasy role-playing game in which players explore, fight and make choices through a story. Fans can create custom campaigns, adding new characters, places and quests. World of Warcraft is a separate, long-running fantasy game with its own world and history.
In World of Warcraft lore, Lordaeron is a kingdom whose lands include Tirisfal Glades. The Forsaken are undead people who were once controlled by the Lich King, a powerful figure associated with undeath; after breaking free, they formed their own community. The campaign draws on that setting and follows one former captive among them.
The mod’s first act offers a new way to explore this familiar game world through Baldur’s Gate 3. Its planned continuation could add more of the story, though no release date for the next act has been announced.
