Bandai Namco Reveals Changes & Improvements In Tales of Eternia Remastered

Bandai Namco has detailed the improvements coming to Tales of Eternia Remastered, which launches on Switch and Switch 2 this October. The publisher shared an extensive "list of changes" on the game's Japanese website, covering both visual upgrades and a wide range of quality-of-life features designed to modernise the classic role-playing title for contemporary players.

The changes include new on-screen icons marking destinations, valuable items, timed events and skill-learning moments, alongside a toggleable "Boost Function" to ease progression, a battle retry option, and skip and pause controls for events and cutscenes. Other additions include autosave, a quick party-wide healing function, faster field movement, adjustable default movement settings, a speed-up option for AUTO battle mode, and a switchable "Remastered" or "Original" graphics mode, among further tweaks detailed on the official site.
