The Bankers Draft, a Wetherspoon pub in Sheffield's city centre, has resumed operations following a comprehensive refurbishment of its facilities. The venue reopened on August 22nd after closing two weeks earlier, with updates including a completely refreshed downstairs bar with improved flow to seating areas, a full kitchen overhaul, and upgrades to the upstairs bar.

The project overran its original schedule when structural and restoration work revealed greater scope than anticipated during the initial demolition phase, delaying reopening by six days past the planned August 17th date. The pub is now operating fully and plans to mark its 30-year tenure at the location with a celebration event on August 26th.
