Beabadoobee (Beatrice Laus) has released "Memories," the fourth single from her forthcoming album Pylon, continuing a run of tracks that suggest a creative step up for the already-established star. The dreamy, layered rock song follows previous singles "All I Did Was Dream Of You," "Sun Has Set" and "Switchblade," each showcasing a different side of her sound, from raucous pop-rock to trip-hop.

Laus describes "Memories" as one of the happiest songs on the album, though its lyrics explore the pitfalls of nostalgia and clinging to moments that ought to bring joy but instead cause sadness. Pylon is due out on 18 September via Dirty Hit/Interscope, and Beabadoobee has also been announced for Spotify's Hometown concert series, with a secret London venue show scheduled for 17 September, the day before the album's release.
