Consequence · 3 hours ago

BEAT, the supergroup dedicated to performing King Crimson's music, has announced a Fall 2026 North American tour, with drummer Terry Bozzio stepping in for Danny Carey, who is unavailable due to Tool commitments. The rest of the line-up remains unchanged, featuring former King Crimson members Adrian Belew and Tony Levin alongside guitarist Steve Vai, and both Vai and Belew offered warm words about the personnel change, with Belew praising Carey's role in shaping the band's identity.

The 40-date tour begins on 9th October in Santa Cruz, California, and runs through cities including Chicago, Toronto, Philadelphia and Atlanta before concluding in Riverside, California, on 3rd December. Alongside the tour, the band will expand its setlist to include material from King Crimson's 1990s output in addition to the 1980s-era songs it has typically performed. Tickets go on pre-sale using the code BEATTOUR via Ticketmaster, with general sale opening on Friday 7th August at 10am local time, and VIP packages including meet-and-greets will also be available.
