Beck has announced his 16th studio album, "Ride Lonesome," his first in seven years since the Grammy-winning "Hyperspace" in 2019. The album, out on 18 September via Capitol Records, sees him reunite with the band who played on his acclaimed records "Sea Change," "Morning Phase" and "Mutations," alongside producer Nigel Godrich, and marks a significant return for the veteran singer-songwriter.

Alongside the announcement, Beck released a video for the album's second single, "In the Night," a sombre ballad featuring acoustic guitar, strings and horns, directed by Mikai Karl and starring French actor Denis Lavant. The 12-track album follows April's title-track release and will be supported by a North American tour beginning 16 September in Vancouver and running through to 31 October in Nashville.
