Sheffield’s Abbeydale Road Beer Festival has marked its fifth anniversary, highlighting the growing profile of the area’s independent pubs, bars and businesses. Organisers say the event is helping Abbeydale Road become a major destination for visitors, while giving local venues a shared opportunity to attract customers and showcase craft beer.

The four-day festival runs across roughly a mile of Abbeydale Road and involves 12 venues, each offering specially selected beers and its own atmosphere. Alongside tap takeovers, the programme includes food, DJs and festival giveaways, with organisers encouraging attendees to visit every participating stop.
