Chelsea and England forward Aggie Beever-Jones says she is determined to “conquer” the new season after successive ankle injuries made 2025-26 the most difficult period of her career. Despite interest from other Women’s Super League clubs and her Chelsea contract nearing its end, the 23-year-old has signed a new four-year deal and wants to help the club recover after losing its six-year league title hold.

Beever-Jones said the injuries affected her mentally as well as physically, leaving her feeling isolated and struggling to regain consistency; she completed a full match only once after Christmas. Chelsea won one trophy last season, below their usual standards, after an unbeaten domestic treble the previous year; Beever-Jones has seven goals in 16 England appearances and hopes strong club form will strengthen her case for next year’s Women’s World Cup.
