The decision reflects ongoing safety concerns tied to instability in Haiti, forcing the cruise line to continue rerouting itineraries away from a destination long favoured for its beaches and adventure attractions.

Labadee is known for its white-sand beaches and the Dragon's Breath Flight Line, one of the world's longest over-water ziplines, making it a significant draw for Royal Caribbean's Caribbean sailings. The extended suspension marks another year added to a pause that has already kept the resort off limits, underlining the persistence of security concerns in the region and the cruise line's caution in restoring the stop to its schedules.
