Ben Roberts-Smith collaborates with supplement firm behind war crimes-themed product
Ben Roberts-Smith has collaborated on social media with Zero Limits, a supplements company co-owned by right-wing podcaster and fitness coach Chris Katelaris. The collaboration matters because Roberts-Smith is awaiting trial on war crimes charges, while Zero Limits recently promoted a pre-workout supplement called “war crimes”.
The October video showed Roberts-Smith and others working out and labelled his apparel brand, Epic 1 Two, and Zero Limits as collaborators. Zero Limits’ former product was flavoured “kill or capture cola” and featured imagery of a hooded captive; it is no longer listed on the company’s website. Roberts-Smith has promoted a different Zero Limits supplement, but is not shown endorsing or using the “war crimes” product. He was arrested in April and charged with five counts of war crime murder relating to three incidents in Afghanistan; he denies the charges. A civil court had previously found, on the balance of probabilities, that he murdered unarmed civilians.
In short
- Roberts-Smith collaborated with Zero Limits on a social media workout video.
- The company previously sold a pre-workout called “war crimes”.
- Roberts-Smith denies the war crime murder charges he faces.
