Benson Boone Brings Young Fan Battling Cancer Onstage at Brisbane Concert

Benson Boone brought 13-year-old fan Kenzie Riddle onstage in Brisbane to sing “Beautiful Things” on her birthday. The moment opened the Australian leg of his Wanted Man tour and fulfilled Riddle’s birthday wish as she faces a second round of cancer treatment.

Riddle has Ewing’s sarcoma; after about two and a half years of treatment, the cancer returned and she is now undergoing intensive chemotherapy. Her family bought the concert tickets in July, and an online campaign helped bring her story to Boone’s attention. Around 10,000 people were in the arena. Boone’s Australian tour continues in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
