The two "Beautiful Things" songs tell different stories: Boone released his in January 2024 on his debut album Fireworks & Rollerblades, reaching No. 1 on the US Pop Airplay chart, while Moroney's later track was inspired by her love for her niece. Moroney's third studio album, released in February 2026, topped both the US Top Country Albums chart and the Billboard 200. Boone has spoken about wanting fans to look beyond the single hit, while still valuing it, and Moroney is set to close her US leg in Nashville on 21 August before touring the UK and finishing in October.
