Best Buy has revived a version of its old preorder promotion, offering shoppers a free $10 digital gift card at launch when they preorder any of four selected video games. The offer applies to The Blood of Dawnwalker, Ace Combat: Wings of Theve, EA Sports FC 27 and EA Sports NHL 27, giving buyers a modest saving on titles priced up to $79.99 amid rising game prices this console generation.

The Blood of Dawnwalker, an open-world vampire-themed action RPG from creators linked to The Witcher 3, launches on 3 September. Ace Combat: Wings of Theve, an aerial combat game, arrives on 29 September (deluxe edition) or 2 October, while EA Sports FC 27 lands on 25 September with a new "Clubs" mode called The Grounds, and NHL 27 releases on 11 September featuring all 32 NHL arenas plus preorder bonuses such as a player pack and 500 NHL Points. Best Buy is also offering a free Steelbook case with preorders of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, due out 23 October.
