FC 26’s Elite Midfielder Evolution lets Ultimate Team players spend 100 FUTTIES Tokens to significantly improve an eligible defensive midfielder. It matters because the five-stage upgrade can turn lower-rated cards into highly capable all-round midfielders, especially when combined with other Evolutions.

– Eligible players must be CDMs rated 96 or below, with no more than 10 PlayStyles and four PlayStyle+ traits; centre-backs are excluded.
– The Evolution can raise key attributes to as high as 97 overall, 98 passing and composure, while adding traits including Intercept, Pinged Pass, Tiki Taka and Anticipate.
– Each of the five levels requires playing one match in Squad Battles on at least Semi-Pro difficulty, or an eligible online or live mode.
– Recommended cards include Xhaka PTG, Alexia Putellas End of an Era, Pedri TOTS, Mariona National Pride, Tielemans Winners, Goretzka End of an Era, Bouaddi Phenoms and Fabian Ruiz Showdown.
– Pogba Ultimate Scream and Miley FC Fantasy are also suggested, though both require multiple Evolutions.
