Beyond Nen Hunter Exam Guide & How to Get Nen

Players must pass Beyond Nen’s four-stage Hunter Exam before unlocking Nen abilities, making it a key progression step. The guide recommends preparing suitable equipment and skills, choosing a low-lag server for player-versus-player fights, and teaming up with a friend for the more difficult stages.

The exam includes a timed obstacle course, a trapped labyrinth and NPC fight, a survival match on Zevil Island, and a final one-on-one duel. On Zevil Island, players need to finish with two badges: their own and one taken from another player. Winning the final duel grants a Hunter’s License; players can then follow Rohan’s quest in the Nen Cave, with a Meditation Mat bought in Port Town, to activate Nen.
