The MAMA Awards are an annual South Korean music awards event focused on K-pop and other Asian popular music. They bring together performers and artists recognised across different award categories, with fans also taking part in some voting.

The acts named include long-established group BIGBANG and newer groups such as ENHYPEN, IVE and CORTIS. Some performers are also among the nominees, and the awards cover music released during a set eligibility period.

The event is organised by South Korean broadcaster Mnet and is being held in Osaka, Japan. Its international stream and city-wide fan events reflect how K-pop audiences and the music industry extend beyond South Korea.
