Actors Billy Zane, John Billingsley, Scottie Thompson and Bonnie Root have joined the cast of "Milliseconds", a new neo noir thriller written and directed by Philippe Caland, who will also appear in the film. The project marks Caland's sixth feature as writer-director-producer, following titles such as "Hollywood Buddha" and "Repentance", and continues his long career that began with writing and producing Jennifer Lynch's "Boxing Helena". The casting adds another notable credit for Zane, best known for "Titanic" and "The Phantom", who is also serving as executive producer on the film.

"Milliseconds" follows a reclusive former painter drawn into an investigation linked to a suicide hotline, which uncovers hidden truths and long-buried connections from his past. The cast also includes newcomer Elijah Lynn Langston alongside Kevin Ryan, Don Wallace and Jason Lee Daniel, with Caland producing through his Junto House Films banner alongside Root and Cynthia Bravo. The film will shoot in Los Angeles, using the cityscape, architectural landmarks and a location in the fire-affected Altadena area, with Gonzalo Digenio attached as cinematographer.
