Bizarre moment BATMOBILE suffers flat tire while driving down Texas freeway

Daily Mail ·

A replica Batmobile was left stranded on Houston’s Gulf Freeway on Thursday afternoon after developing a flat tyre. Traffic cameras captured the unusual sight near El Dorado Boulevard, drawing attention because the vehicle resembles the famous car from Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman film.

The car belongs to Abdulla Kudrath, a Houston emergency doctor, entrepreneur and collector, who says he traded a Ferrari 458 for it and believes it is one of only two such Batmobiles in Texas. He spent two years making the former drag-racing vehicle road legal; it has a custom chassis, a roughly 1,000-horsepower LS engine, and has also been used at children’s charity events.
