Black Ops 7’s final Zombies map arrives with big-ass spiders a day prior to MW4’s beta

Destructoid · 2 hours ago

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will receive its final round-based Zombies map, Rex Infernus, on 20 August, concluding the game’s Zombies storyline. The release matters because Modern Warfare 4 is expected to focus on DMZ rather than Zombies, potentially leaving the mode without new maps for some time.

Rex Infernus launches with the Season Five Reloaded update at 11am CT and includes a main quest centred on stopping the Warden and saving reality. It introduces spider-like Deathspinners and the Web Mother, while also bringing back the Widow’s Wine perk and adding ultra-rarity weapons such as the TR2 marksman rifle and Olympia shotgun to the Mystery Box; MW4’s beta begins the following day, 21 August.
