Blink-182 team up with ‘Pac-Man’ for 25th anniversary of ‘Take Off Your Pants And Jacket’

NME · 4 hours ago

Blink-182 have announced a collaboration with Pac-Man to mark the 25th anniversary of their pop-punk album "Take Off Your Pants And Jacket". The limited-edition merchandise will be sold at a dedicated Blink-182 x Pac-Man booth at San Diego Comic-Con, tying the band's nostalgic appeal to the classic arcade game's branding.

The collection includes a numbered Comic-Con vinyl edition of the album produced by Blood Records, and a Blink-182 take on the Pac-Man x 7-Eleven t-shirt worn by bassist Mark Hoppus at Coachella 2023. The arcade-themed booth (number 1415), open from 23–26 July, will feature co-branded arcade cabinets, a claw machine with Pac-Man and Blink-182 prizes, and photo opportunities with Pac-Man and the band's bunny mascot. It follows last month's 25th-anniversary streaming reissue of the album, and comes as Blink-182 prepare European headline dates, including Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park and Rock For People, next June.
