“Bluntman” Arrested With 128 Pounds Of Weed Bound For Gathering Of The Juggalos
A man known as "Bluntman" has been arrested and charged with drug trafficking while travelling to the Gathering Of The Juggalos festival in Macks Creek, Missouri, where he ran a merchandise stall selling cannabis. Kevin Michael Jones, 45, from Easton, Pennsylvania, was stopped by police in Osage Beach on Monday and is being held without bond, meaning his stall will be absent from this year's event, which is headlined by Insane Clown Posse alongside acts including Vanilla Ice, Milli Vanilli, Tech N9ne and Hatebreed.
Police say Jones's camper van was pulled over after repeatedly failing to stay in its lane, and that a K-9 unit's alert, combined with online adverts for his "One-Stop Shop", gave officers probable cause to search the vehicle. Officers reportedly found more than 130 pounds (roughly 59kg) of marijuana and psilocybin products, along with "Weed 4 Sale" signage, and Jones now faces two felony charges: first-degree drug trafficking and delivery of a controlled substance. Although recreational marijuana is legal in Missouri, the scale of the operation appears to have exceeded legal limits.
