Bob’s Burgers is an animated comedy about the Belchers, a family who run a small burger restaurant. Parents Bob and Linda raise their children Tina, Gene and Louise in the seaside town of Ocean City.
The series often builds stories around family life, school and the restaurant, and its Christmas episodes have become a recurring part of the show. A separate short can give viewers a seasonal story while the regular series is between seasons.
The programme has a long-running audience, and its renewal means it is expected to continue for several more years. Its mix of family comedy and familiar holiday traditions helps explain why a Christmas special is part of the show’s ongoing appeal.
