Jimmy Robbins, the Nashville-based songwriter and producer, turns 37 today, having built one of country music's most successful songwriting careers over the past decade. Born in Raleigh, North Carolina, in 1989, he has written 12 number-one hits for artists including Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Maren Morris and Thomas Rhett, establishing himself as a key figure behind the genre's shift towards more narrative, story-driven lyrics.

Robbins moved to Nashville in 2012 after touring in pop-punk bands and living in New York and Los Angeles, and has since written more than 300 songs. He achieved three chart-toppers within a single year, earning the CMA's Triple Play Award in 2014, and has won three CMA trophies in total, including Song of the Year for Maren Morris's "The Bones" in 2020. Beyond songwriting, he has also produced tracks for artists such as Carly Pearce, Sabrina Carpenter and Keith Urban.
