Bose has announced its first pair of wired earbuds in eleven years, returning to a category it discontinued in 2015. The Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds eliminate battery anxiety and charging requirements whilst incorporating active noise cancellation with multiple modes developed over the past decade. The earbuds are available for preorder today at $99 in three colour options: black, white smoke, and a limited-edition "dewdrop mint" green, with shipping expected in mid-October.

The earbuds feature dual microphones per side alongside Bose's QuietControl technology for active noise cancelling with Quiet Mode, Aware Mode, and a fully off setting, all controlled via an inline remote. They connect via a 4.2-foot USB-C cable that supports lossless audio with minimal latency and come with an IPX4 water-resistance rating for sweat and splashes. The package includes a carrying case, three silicone eartip sizes, and two stability wing options for a secure fit during physical activity.
