Boy George released an AI-generated song called 'We Will Dance Again' in which he openly supported Israel's military response to Palestinians. The track included lyrics directly confronting criticism of Israeli operations and challenged media and musical figures for what he characterised as unbalanced coverage.

The release triggered multiple professional ruptures. Bandcamp deactivated his account, citing its policy against substantially AI-generated music, whilst Boy George parted ways with his longtime manager Tony Pontius, who had refused to release the track. These separations occurred shortly after the artist was withdrawn from an upcoming London production of Jesus Christ Superstar, where he had been scheduled to perform.
