Brandon Flowers has released “Tiger’s Blood”, the latest single from his forthcoming solo album Thrasher. The Killers frontman has recently reflected on whether to continue performing, but said powerful live moments keep drawing him back, making the release a sign that he remains creatively active beyond the band.

Unlike the country-leaning direction suggested for Thrasher, “Tiger’s Blood” is described as a driving rock song with a strong Bruce Springsteen influence, including a vocal cadence reminiscent of “I’m On Fire”. It follows earlier singles “Paradise” and “Plans”, and Thrasher is due for release on Island on 21 August.
