Bravo VP Talks Amanda’s TV Future After ‘Summer House’ Exit, West’s Departure and ‘In the City’ Season 2: “I’m Optimistic”

The Hollywood Reporter · 3 hours ago

Bravo executive Josh Brown said he remains optimistic about the future of In the City after its first season, despite Amanda Batula and West Wilson leaving Summer House. The spin-off has followed former Summer House cast members in New York, including Amanda and Kyle Cooke as their marriage deteriorated before their January split, and its reunion highlighted continuing personal conflicts.

At the reunion, Amanda alleged Kyle had been unfaithful during their marriage, while he said she nearly hit him after he woke her; both acknowledged incompatibilities but said they still care for each other during their divorce. Brown said Lindsay Hubbard and Whitney’s argument ended on unresolved rather than definitively bad terms, and noted In the City is among Bravo’s three most-watched new series of the past five years.

  • Bravo is optimistic about In the City’s future.
  • Amanda and Kyle revisited their troubled marriage.
  • Lindsay and Whitney’s dispute remains unresolved.
