Breathedge 2, the sequel to RedRuins Softworks' comedic space survival game, is set to launch into early access on PC on Monday, 31 August. The sequel continues directly from the first game's story but is designed as a standalone adventure, meaning newcomers won't need to have played the original to jump in.

Players take on the role of an ordinary man stranded in space alongside an AI companion, who becomes hunted by hostile "coffin bots" after an earlier misadventure. As a single-player title, it allows players to progress at their own pace, exploring a large open world while gathering resources to survive. Since the game is launching in early access, further content and features are expected to be added in future updates.
