Nashville singer-songwriter Brennan Wedl has released "High Priestess," a tarot-inspired ballad and the fourth preview track from her self-titled debut album. The song offers a first-person account of an aimless late-night drive, using the imagery of the High Priestess tarot card to explore a narrator who resists confronting painful truths about the past.

Wedl explained that the song frames a late-night drive as a metaphor for unresolved personal issues, with the narrator's avoidance echoing tarot cards such as the Two of Swords and the Magician, both associated with denial and illusion. "High Priestess" follows previously shared singles "Pretty Little Fantasy," "Let's Be Models," and "Two Dollar Pistol". Wedl's debut album, Brennan Wedl, is set for release on 21 August 2026 via ANTI- Records.
